Out of Season Lacrosse

Summer Chill, Fall Ball and Jack Frost Winter Lacrosse

The idea behind all of our "out of season" leagues is two fold; 1. To Enjoy and 2. To Improve.

We work on all the skill sets for each position and then put the players into drills where they will have to replicate what they just learned.  We will also play games and scrimmages at every session.

As coaches we put emphasis on playing the game correctly (i.e. working with your off hand and proper fundamentals).

Spring Lacrosse Programs

Program Summary:

The program is for boys in grades 3-8 from Matthews and surrounding areas.  We also run a girls program for girls in grades 5-8. The leagues will focus on developing proper fundamentals, stemming from the belief that proper fundamentals are the foundation of all great lacrosse players.  The focus by the coaches will be on teaching and providing an atmosphere where players want to learn and are not afraid of making mistakes, as sometimes, mistakes are the best way to learn.  All of our coaches will have played NCAA Lacrosse.

Turn and Burn recognizes that lacrosse is a game that has a rich tradition involving sportsmanship and good character. In that regard, all Turn and Burn coaches will work diligently to make sure that these traditions are passed along to the future generations of lacrosse players.
