"Jack Frost" Winter ScheduleWE WILL BE ADDING 3 NEW MAKE-UP DATES FOR THIS WINTER SEASON. FRIDAY, JANUARY 22ND AND 29TH FROM 5PM - 6:30 AND SATURDAY, JANUARY 23RD FROM 1PM - 2:30PM Boys in grades 6 - 8 will start on Saturday, November 14th, we will end on Saturday, January 16th. The boys will practice at MARA, from 1pm to 2:30pm on Saturdays and 5pm to 6:30pm on Wednesdays. There will be no sessions on Wednesday, November 25th or Saturday, December 26th. Saturdays and Wednesdays, a total of 17, 1.5 hour sessions. The cost for the winter program is $250.00 Pay Online Here ** "pay as you play" for only $20 a session ** Equipment needed for players: helmet, gloves, armpads, shoulder pads, mouth piece, and stick. We work on all the skill sets for each position and then put the players into drills where they will have to replicate what they just learned. The focus of our fall program will be the development of "proper fundamentals." We will scrimmage and play games at every session. As coaches we put emphasis on playing the game correctly (i.e. working with your off hand and proper fundamentals). Most importantly, we have a relaxed atmosphere that fosters an enjoyable learning expierence. This allows players to be comfortable and to try new things without the fear of being yelled at or ridiculed. As we all know, sometimes mistakes are the best way to learn! As always Turn and Burn is for the beginner to the all-star and everyone in between, players will grouped according to their age and their ability.
