Maryland Teams and Information:BOY'S U-15: "Maryland Flames" Turn and Burn's latest travel team will be the Maryland Flames, a U-15 Middle School travel team. The Flames will be comprised of 24 elite players from Severna Park and surrounding areas. The Flames will play in two competive tournaments on June 30th and July 9th, then will wrap up the summer by playing our sister program from Charlotte N.C. on Saturday July 31st in Severna Park. Also, that Saturday evening (July 31st), all players will recieve tickets to the Bayhawks game, plus have the oppurtunity to attend a pre-game clinic with the Chesapeake Bayhawks. In addition, All players will be allowed into the player locker rooms during halftime! Age Requirements: (as indicated by US Lacrosse) Youth players will be age 15 years and under in grade 8 or below and further qualify as follows in order to participate in USLYC sanctioned youth lacrosse activities: (a) player has not attained 15 years of age as of December 31st in the year preceding a USLYC sanctioned event; and (b) the player has not participated in any high-school program as a member of a high school freshmen, junior varsity, or varsity team. Practices for the Flames will begin once the spring season ends. Specific dates TBA. Costs: The final cost is $425.00 per player. All payments are due by April 20th. The Cost will include; all practices, coaching salaries/travel expenses, all tournament/registration fees, custom travel bag, custom team gloves, practice/game shirt, shorts, and reversible jersey. Kinder Park, Severna Park, MD. A one day tournament in which each team is guaranteed three games in which you will play and hour and be off an hour. The top two teams in each bracket will move on to a semifinal game and then a championship game (so a possible of 5 games). BAY BRIDGE BRAWL: FRIDAY, JULY 9TH
Kent Island High School & Love Point Park, Kent Island, MD This will be a 10 v 10 tournament with a Championship format. Each game will be 22 minute running halves. Each team will be guaranteed 4 games. CHESAPEAKE BAYHAWKS CLINIC / GAME: SATURDAY, JULY 31ST All players will participate in a clinic during the day at Navy Marine Core Stadium, receiving personal instruction from Bayhawk players. After the clinic there will be a "Turn and Burn" tailgating area so parents and families can hang out before and during the game that evening. They play the Chicago Machine at 7PM.
